Rubber Bustle Dress Couture (PICS)

This is the 23rd appearance Lydia Ivy West has made in the Blue Blood VIP. Forrest Black and I shot this in San Francisco and latex couturier Polly Pandemonium was kind enough to donate this fabulous bustle dress for the shoot.

I haven't shot in San Francisco in way too long and haven't been there since December. I'd really like to spend some time in SF soon. I'd also like a new camera. Some new easier to carry lights. And a pony. Pony optional. I think Ivy has a horse, now that I think about it.

I hadn’t recalled that today, April 20th, was 420 Day, but Molly Case at Sexy Fandom posted with this adorable 420 Juggalo cam girl I just had to share. She has a pot leaf drawn on her cheek and somehow manages to combine Juggalette style with something more goth-industrial and have it work. A little while back, Forrest Black found a mention of the existence of a Hello Kitty handgun. I felt I had to find the source for this little gadget. It is supposedly mostly aimed at the ladies, but I think any gender could carry it with the right accessories. The Dark Hello Kitty inlayed Blackwater Sig Sauer P226 from TJ’s Custom Gunworks is probably the perfect gun for the fabulous drag queen, although I can’t say whether the artisans market it that way. TJ’s will customize handguns with neon colors or spikes or whatever fantasy fun you’d prefer with your fully functional firearm. I admit that I think it would be kind of hilarious to shoot someone with a super cute . . .

Alecia Joy Icons (PICS)

Alecia Joy posted to Blue Blood VIP in a set by your truly and Forrest Black called Icons. Forrest Black and I had a great time with her shooting and you all should expect to see lots more of her. Readers will be seeing some select images from this shoot in the forthcoming issue of Marquis, but Blue Blood VIP members get to see the whole thing. Here is a great anecdote excerpted from the Marquis #51 feature on Alecia Joy: recently, Alecia Joy got some metal grinding training for GrindKore from Perish, who we covered in Marquis #43. Alecia Joy is a trooper and she has the scars to prove it, because the show must go on. At a recent, "metal grinding performance [she] ended up giving [herself] a grind burn when a drunk person's head came dangerously close. It was a reflex to pull away when [she] saw the bald head flying by, so [she] pulled the grinder away and consequently missed the metal on [her] outfit and ground two lines into [her] inner thigh. [She] finished the performance and rinsed it out, but metal shards were embedded. Alecia adds that "the owner of the club came by and gave [her] a bunch of drink tickets, but all [she] wanted was for the fire in [her] leg to subside! Part of [her] wanted to sit out the performance [she] was supposed to do after that, but [she] found that the fake blood in the kiddy pool actually soothed the burn." Best use for a kiddy pool full of blood. Ever.
