Her academic background is in English and social psychology and she received Honors at Wesleyan University for her pop culture deconstruction of vampire legends. Locus has described her genre work as poignant. Her writing has been translated for publication into German, Russian, and French. In partnership with Forrest Black, she has photographed more than 3,000 people. Forrest Black and Amelia G's photographic work has graced thousands of pages of editorial, including many magazine covers and posters. Their specialties are subculture and naughty bits. Amelia G’s day job at Blue Blood is being a media mogul.
